Office Hours
These hours (found in the above calendar) are in place for students to meet with me so that they can get answers to questions regarding AiP, the games industry, or professional life in general.

More often than not though I'm away from my office due to meetings or students requesting my presence in the computer labs. I can make time if I know you need some help.

Send me an email (aip@gabesabourin.com)
at least the evening before you would like to meet outside of class so that I can ensure a chunk of time for you.

I will meet you in the classroom we use on a weekly basis, but in the case that I have requested actual office time with you, my office can be found in room 917 on the 9th floor. Once you walk through the door, take a right, and it's the desk with the orange clock. Use this map as a reference.

Grading Overview
Late work

All work is due within the first 15 minutes of the class. If work is turned in after the first 15 minutes no credit will be given, unless an extension is requested 24 hours prior. At the end of the quarter you will have the opportunity to resubmit 1 project along with you final.

So what's worth what?

I use a flexible grading system as the pace of each class changes with the students who are enrolled. This means that at times I will add exercises, quizzes, or projects, while other times I remove some depending on how well students take to certain topics. Regardless of the number of assignments, each type has a weight that it always maintains.

Assignment Types and Weights Grading Scale

Exercises Count 1 time A 100 to 92
